System and Software Requirements See general Loftware System Requirements . To develop your application you need a development environment with .NET Framework 4.7.2 such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 or newer. Deploying Loftware .NET API When you install Loftware .NET API package is also installed. The Loftware installation package installs the following: SDK Reference.chm. The Loftware .NET API help file is located in the folder where you installed Loftware. The default location is c:\Program Files\Loftware\Loftware\\Help\SDK\. Use the universal Loftware installer to install Loftware on the client's computer. The API libraries are installed as part of Print components. Licensing Before you start using Loftware .NET API on workstations, activate your license. To activate your license, run Loftware Desktop Designer or Automation and follow the on-screen guidance for activation. Loftware .NET API is available with PowerForms Suite and Control Center licenses. Printers used with Loftware .NET API count in the same license quote as from other Loftware modules. The Sign in to your Loftware Cloud window appears. Sign in using your Microsoft or Google Account. Problem When you try to log in to your Loftware Cloud, you face one of the following issues: After you enter your credentials in Loftware Desktop Designer, a blank page opens. You can't log in to your Loftware Web Client with your Google account. Solution After you enter your credentials in Loftware Desktop Designer, a blank page opens Your computer might have restrictions to websites that Loftware applications use to communicate with Loftware Cloud. Add websites to Trusted sites in Internet properties. Open Internet Options in Control Panel. Internet Properties window opens. Go to the Security tab. Click the Trusted sites icon, then click the Sites button. Trusted sites window opens. In the Add this website to the zone edit field enter your Loftware Cloud address: then click Add. Add also the following sites: Click Close. You added Loftware websites to your Trusted sites and you should now successfully log in to your Loftware Cloud. If the problem persists, add additional sites to Trusted sites (see steps 1-5 above): Then make sure you have enabled the Websites in less privileged web content zone can navigate into this zone option in Security Settings: Open Internet Options in Control Panel. Description When the computer name is changed and Loftware is licensed using a software license key, the key will fail after the system is rebooted. The license is stored in a registry key with the same name as the simple computer name, so Loftware will not be looking in the correct location for the key after the change. How to Recover a Loftware License after Changing the Computer Name Open regedit.exe from the Start menu search or run dialog.WARNING! The Windows Registry is used for low level operating system configuration and should only be edited by advanced users. Editing the registry can cause irrevocable damage to your operating system. Contact your system administrator before proceeding. Click the Trusted sites icon, then click the Sites button. Trusted sites window opens. In the Add this website to the zone edit field enter your Loftware Cloud address: then click Add. Add also the following sites: Click Close. You added Loftware websites to your Trusted sites and you should now successfully log in to your Loftware Cloud. The license is stored in a registry key with the same name as the simple computer name, so Loftware will not be looking in the correct location for the key after the change.
