Data is on the desktop (nearly 2TB), and no laptop has very much on it's internal drive at all, spending $60/laptop/year for a tiny amount of data vs just putting it all in one Amazon Cloud Drive account makes little sense for me.My perhaps only concern is that Arq is a small concern, so what happens if the developer decides to quit? They do have an open sourced command line utility for retrieving data that is hosted on GitHub. I have never tried it. Arq is my "last resort" since I also have 2 TimeMachine drives and 2 daily clones (one on a Drobo) on my desktop, so I'm only going out to Arq if all 4 of those backups die, so as a result, if Arq does disappear one day, I will (hopefully) be OK while I wait for everything to upload to a new cloud service.Hope this info is helpful..
