If licensing is shut down to force users off a severly outdated program (and generate some sales) I'm not saying helm was bad, I liked using it myself, just that development stopped some time ago, security is an ongoing concern there. Never really understood parallels approach to buying products and then killing them. One possible reason is just getting its core/strengths and chuck it in to their main product. Couldn't get it fixed as they had no developer and were not prepared to pay us to do it.Even the sites that did migrate, we usually had to wait weeks for the customer to test it and get back to us, so it was just an impossible task.So with this HELM EOL announcement we have basically just given them all a deadline to do the migration themselves and provided a HELM to WebsitePanel migration guide.Unfortunately there really is no way to automate this, you have to do it manually as there are too many differences. I did however write a tool for migrating the customers from HELM to WHMCS. Yes, I agree on each and every point what you mentioned.
