Well worth it I think Sep 24, 2009 4:52 AM in response to wehutty One thing that iTunes 9 broke, that hasn't been addressed in the 9.0.1 update is smart playlists not appearing in the desired sorting order on an iPhone when compared to their sorting order as they appears within iTunes: Example: You create a smart playlist of Podcasts with a playcount of 0 You sort your list of Podcasts in alphabetical order in iTunes by simply clicking on the "name" in the "name" column. - or - you click on "time" in the time column to sort your unplayed Podcasts so that the playlist sorts them by shortest first and so on. Here's the problem... In iTunes 8 the above synced playlist would appear identical on the iPhone as it did in iTunes. In other words, you could listen to your Podcast playlist in the order you desired / setup within iTunes. In iTunes 9, THIS HAS STOPPED WORKING! Is there some way to upgrade iTunes 9 be reverting back to iTunes 8? iTunes 8 just worked. Cheers / Badtastic Sep 24, 2009 6:43 AM in response to wehutty There are no new features (as compared with iTunes 9.0). Any features that would be added to an iPod touch itself would come from an update to the iPod touch OS, not to iTunes. Message was edited by: Dave SawyerComments

2025-04-150 Joegeiger December 23, 2017 16:52 Answered I just upgraded to SkySafari Pro 6 from my phone. I went to see if it installed on my iPad and it says I have to pay another $20 to install it? Had I known this I would have just updated my iPad. 6 comments 0 Bill Tschumy December 23, 2017 17:08 No, this is not true. As always, you only have to purchase it once. Nothing has changed.1. You might double check to see if both devices are logged into the same account.2. You might force quit the App Store app on the iPad and try again. Maybe something is cached and not refreshed. If you still have problems you will need to contact Apple to see what is up. It is their store and we have no control over it. 1 Tim Campbell December 23, 2017 17:28 Joe,Go into the "App Store" app... and on the main page you should see your icon/portrait in the upper right corner. Tap on that (your icon or portrait). This will pull up an account window... and you'll see an option that says "Purchased". Tap that. This will show you all your recent purchases against that same account. Where you see Sky Safari Pro, you should now see the cloud download icon ... which you can tap and install. It would probably also refresh if you kill and restart the App Store so it gets latest purchase info. But going into that "Purchased" history option will force it to get the most recent purchases fresh from the cloud. 0 Joegeiger December 23, 2017 19:10 Going to my account and viewing it from “purchased” solved the problem. I was able to download it. Thanks Tim. 0 Vrider December 28, 2017 13:38 Tim,I also had this same issue. The problem is that iTunes only knows both Apps as the same name "SkySafari Pro". When you purchase the new 6 Pro, iTunes does not refresh it's link to the new purchase, since it already sees that you own SkySafari Pro. iTunes thinks both apps, SkySafari 5 Pro and SkySafari 6 Pro,
