It occurred suddenly, and I have spent the whole day trying to fix it, all to no avail. I've done pretty much everything that has been suggested,and my port is still closed. When I disabled the VPN the port shows as open. You would know if you had one; you have to buy a subscription. It is not like a router, but I advise you research it and get one if you plan on torrenting. You are putting yourself at risk by torrenting without a VPN.Here is an explanation of why you still have some connections with a closed port:The short answer to the question: YES, you can seed with closed port too.If the port is closed that only means you can't accept incoming connections, but you can still connect to peers who accept connections. In torrent terminology they say that you are in passive mode.If your port would be open then you would be able to accept connections too. In torrent terminology this is called active mode.So it works like this: A client in passive mode can connect to a client which is in active mode, but not to a client which is in passive mode. Previously I was using the batch file. Installed on Vista (with .net 3.5) but it kept crashing after around 10 seconds of starting a torrent transfering. I can connect to it and everything works until I start torrents.Great work! Now I can use my RPC client for torrents when I'm out of town (my laptop runs windows but my home fileserver runs T on Linux). Servo Drive : How to update the firmware of servo drive in DriveCM? 1. Above all, you should install DriveCM and have the firmware file. 2. Click ‘Firmware Update’ as shown below. 3. Click ‘Open Firmware Downloader’. 4. Click the ‘load’ button to retrieve the Firmware file. 5. Select the ‘BIN’ file of the firmware to download, then click the Open button. 6. The loaded Firmware ‘Total Length’ and ‘Total Packet’ are displayed. Compare Current name with New name to check drive type, capacity and firmware version. 7. After the deletion is complete, Firmware is automatically sent and the current transmission status can be checked via the Progress bar and the ‘Current Packet’. I run it as my user, not the user transmission. It fails to start when I reboot or restart the computer. I did change the message level to 3 as you suggested. The first time I rebooted after doing this the daemon failed to start but the log file was there but empty. Am utorrent and vuse (previously azureus) definitely do connect to multiple trackers when it is set up correctly. It connects to them all in order, using the gap between announcements to connect to the next one on the list. You can see this as (again when set up correctly) the tracker view switches between the trackers and many are connectedThis and DHT are features that transmission does not have which I consider necessary for me to use it, both allow you to expand your list of peers and therefore get faster speeds and more availability (especially on dieing torrents and less popular torrents)These are two features I consider necessary for my bittorrent client, why cheat yourself out of speed and availability by using transmission when alternatives are available.I like transmission, it is lightweight, has a great GUI and can be run from the command line, It is however in my opinion incomplete. The sooner everyone realises the benefits of these features the better, as soon as they are implemented I will ditch the bulky vuse and all shall be perfect Just because multiple trackers were designed for spreading the load doesn't mean we shouldn't use them to expand our peer base, the internet was designed for military communications, look at it nowPS: I'm not being overly picky by needing these features, honest. 63W macrumors regular #1 Ive tested it and re-tested it for the past 2 hours. Downloading torrents are slower with Big Sur by about 40%. Power cycled the router and ISP modem. Power cycled my MacAir several times. Performed speed tests using different local servers via SpeedTest.net App on MacAir; im getting full speed that I pay for. But when it comes to torrents, download speeds are far slower and i'm connecting to far fewer seeds, vs Catalina.Im running Qbittorent 4.3.0Out of 7,000 seeds, I only connect to 2 seeds at most. #2 Glad I'm not going crazy. I'm having the same issue.
