You would know if you had one; you have to buy a subscription. It is not like a router, but I advise you research it and get one if you plan on torrenting. You are putting yourself at risk by torrenting without a VPN.Here is an explanation of why you still have some connections with a closed port:The short answer to the question: YES, you can seed with closed port too.If the port is closed that only means you can't accept incoming connections, but you can still connect to peers who accept connections. In torrent terminology they say that you are in passive mode.If your port would be open then you would be able to accept connections too. In torrent terminology this is called active mode.So it works like this: A client in passive mode can connect to a client which is in active mode, but not to a client which is in passive mode. A client in active mode can connect to both active and passive clients. So if your port is closed

Previously I was using the batch file. Installed on Vista (with .net 3.5) but it kept crashing after around 10 seconds of starting a torrent transfering. I can connect to it and everything works until I start torrents.Great work! Now I can use my RPC client for torrents when I'm out of town (my laptop runs windows but my home fileserver runs T on Linux). Servo Drive : How to update the firmware of servo drive in DriveCM? 1. Above all, you should install DriveCM and have the firmware file. 2. Click ‘Firmware Update’ as shown below. 3. Click ‘Open Firmware Downloader’. 4. Click the ‘load’ button to retrieve the Firmware file. 5. Select the ‘BIN’ file of the firmware to download, then click the Open button. 6. The loaded Firmware ‘Total Length’ and ‘Total Packet’ are displayed. Compare Current name with New name to check drive type, capacity and firmware version. 7. After the deletion is complete, Firmware is automatically sent and the current transmission status can be checked via the Progress bar and the ‘Current Packet’. (The time to transfer may take from tens of seconds to minutes depending on PC performance). 8. A ‘Transmission completed’ pop-up window will be displayed if the transmission has completed successfully. (After the PC transfer is complete, power the drive off/on again and reboot) Servo Drive : How could I change the contact A to B when CCW limit signal is turned on? Q. How could I change the contact A to B when CCW limit signal is turned on? A. If CCW Limit signal is turned on, check specification and the wiring of the limit switch. The default value is contact A when shipped from factory. If you need to change the contact A to B, change the contact ‘High’ to ‘Low’ as below picture through the Drive CM. Servo Drive : How does DD Motor perform servo tuning? Q. How does DD Motor perform servo tuning ? A. – DD motor is more inertial than general rotary servo motor.. – Since the DD motor is generally applied to a large inertia turning table, noise or vibration may occur in the DD motor when driven by the default gain set in the servo drive. – In this case, we recommend manual tuning method rather than auto tuning of servo drive. Please refer to the attached figure 1(0).png using Drive CM. Servo Drive : AL-31 Encoder Cable Open Error Occured. What should i do? Question : After the servo drive (L7S) was connected to the motor the power should be supplied. After supplying power, AL-31 Alarm went off. What measure should I do take? Am utorrent and vuse (previously azureus) definitely do connect to multiple trackers when it is set up correctly. It connects to them all in order, using the gap between announcements to connect to the next one on the list. You can see this as (again when set up correctly) the tracker view switches between the trackers and many are connectedThis and DHT are features that transmission does not have which I consider necessary for me to use it, both allow you to expand your list of peers and therefore get faster speeds and more availability (especially on dieing torrents and less popular torrents)These are two features I consider necessary for my bittorrent client, why cheat yourself out of speed and availability by using transmission when alternatives are available.I like transmission, it is lightweight, has a great GUI and can be run from the command line, It is however in my opinion incomplete. The sooner everyone realises the benefits of these features the better, as soon as they are implemented I will ditch the bulky vuse and all shall be perfect Just because multiple trackers were designed for spreading the load doesn't mean we shouldn't use them to expand our peer base, the internet was designed for military communications, look at it nowPS: I'm not being overly picky by needing these features, honest. My internet provider has blocked the domains of the big trackers like tracker.example.com and tracker.example.com, I rely on the little trackers and linking them all up makes a HUGE difference sin4me Posts: 6 Joined: Mon Dec 08, 2008 3:03 pm Re: Tiers, multiple trackers Post by sin4me » Mon Jan 19, 2009 6:13 am reardon wrote:I have looked everywhere I could for information on this and simply can't find any: what are the tiers in the Tracker properties tab?

It and try againWell, the problems went away after a batch of windows updates... Doesn't happen anymore I'll send you a PM later about joining the project.Nice to hear that! ajf88 Re: Transmission for Windows Post by ajf88 » Fri Dec 19, 2008 7:31 pm EDIT: I fixed the issue described below by starting this using the shortcut on my desktop I didn't notice. I hope after New Year I'll merge with latest trunk of transmission and there will be an alpha release of full client with UI by the end of January 2009. ajf88 Re: Transmission for Windows Post by ajf88 » Sat Dec 20, 2008 6:10 pm Sounds cool. Despite being an old revision, with the exception of setting wanted/unwanted files it works perfectly and looks like a very promising project. spry Posts: 11 Joined: Fri Oct 24, 2008 7:50 pm Re: Transmission for Windows Post by spry » Sun Dec 21, 2008 12:17 pm As soon as there will be working client for windows, we may merge my project into official transmission jdarias Posts: 21 Joined: Tue May 13, 2008 2:31 pm Re: Transmission for Windows Post by jdarias »
