How to track time in Help Scout with Everhour Step 1: Create an Everhour account Sign up for free and install our browser extension. This is how we embed time tracking controls into the Help Scout interface. We support all popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Step 2: Log in to extension Help Scout time tracking extension should now appear in your toolbar. Click on it and login into your Everhour account. Click pin icon to make it visible all the time. This way you can always see if your timer is running or not. Step 3: Grant site access You will need to grant our extension access to helpscout.net site. Open Everhour extension and click on the avatar icon to access the Integrations page. Search for Help Scout and enable it. Step 4: Track time inside Help Scout Head over to Help Scout. You should now see the "Start Timer" button there. Click on it to start the timer. Click the "+" button to add time manually for today or past date. Step 5: Review and analyze Help Scout time tracking reports Head over to app.everhour.com to view your time entries. When you track time from Help Scout, we'll copy the ticket id, subject and client name to the time entry in Everhour, with a link back to the Help Scout conversation. Step 6: Find out more... Pipeline is a web-based CRM that helps you track and organize all the deals in your sales pipeline. With Pipeline, you can organize the companies, people & deals - set goals, and easily coordinate with your team to ensure they're pushed through the pipeline.Once installed, the Pipeline app for Help Scout will automatically sync data between your Pipeline and Help Scout accounts, helping to build out and manage your business's customer base. The app also displays a customer's current pipeline value, overall lifetime value and status - as well as up to three deals & their key data points: company name, deal value, pipeline stage and expected close date. Check out the snapshot below of how it will appear below in Help Scout: Activation instructions 1 Log in to Pipeline and click on the little cog icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page. From the dropdown menu, select the Account Settings option. 2 From the sidebar on the Account Settings page, select the Pipeline API option at the very bottom.
