You should have 2 entries in 'ReWire': 'REAPER' and 'REAPER/32', or 'REAPER' and 'REAPER/64' in REAPER 32 bit. And original 32 bit plugin must not be in VstPlugins, but in a hidden folder because Cubase x32 (I thing also Reaper) prefers x32 plugin than 64 bits transformed plugin. 12-29-2021, 01:11 AM #10 Human being with feelings Join Date: Sep 2016 Posts: 657 Quote: Originally Posted by ivansc Any particular reason why you are not interested? I am happy with the old plugins I have, they work for me. I treat my PC like a vintage gear I also have, just because it's old it doesn't mean I have to throw it out. I did try to run 64bit setup on other PC but I couldn't see any difference or advantage in performance apart from having to use the bridge which actually slowed things down.So really, not interested at all in 64bit and yes I still run Win 7. From time to time I just update my PC to new hardware and it's all good. View in support of Mixcraft 64 more forcefully, which resulted in an unpleasant experience that must be similar to being attacked by crocodiles.I have acknowledged on numerous occasions that I understand why some people would want to run 32 bit plugins on Mixcraft 32 or 64 bit, that is certainly up to them. But the vocal promoters of this refuse to acknowledge those who want to run 64 bit plugins only. It is at least an equally valid setup.Oh well, I think it has been worth it though, because 5 more 64 bit plugins have now been added to the most recent build of Mixcraft, so that's some progress from my perspective. In my work I have an i5, 8gig ram, 3 hard drives, win 7 sp1 64 bit, an ordinary computer by any standards, probably with more hard drives than normal. I have kontakt instruments etc some large samples but nothing overly amazing. I got the komplete ultimate 10 package. I use Mixcraft 64 bit and again, I am reticent to say it, but I don't have any real problems running all this to do what I want to do.Most of what I do revolves around mixing voice and music to produce various self development and rehabilitation products. This can also include mild beat making style music. This could all probably be done on a 32 bit system, using a 32 bit Mixcraft, I don't know and wouldn't try because I already have my system. However, I used to play in bands for some years and am attempting to emulate a live band sound in the box which is more intensive, I know I cannot do this to my tastes in 32 bit because it requires more power, but I am getting very close now, only the vocals need to be done and then I would be happy to share that, but because it is ready, not just to prove a point. This is starting to consume more time than I have available for this task, so I will give it a rest for a while, I feel I have contributed enough

The other 8 bits is for an alpha (transparency) channel, which is of limited relevance.I believe that some graphics cards and monitors can do HDR (10 bits per color), but I have never owned that combination.32 bit color is superior to 64 bit color in that 32 bit color exists.

I may have the path as (86), so this may be my problem? Where in Cubase would I verify which bit I am running? Help, About tab maybe?
