Eamon is that typical old wise man with a beard, nothing more.i don't believe it is possible to ignore his illnessthat would allow you to avoid at least 2 mission critical quests, URN & Connorit is possible to make Alistair king though, and if you do Arl gives Teagan control of Redcliffe in the epilogue, while the Arl stays to "advise" Alistairi do not think you're allowed to simply let the arl dieand i know personally i have many times, completely done all quests before curing the arl, only curing him when i'm ready for the finale... there is no time limit on saving him...

(Determinant) Connor Guerrin is the son of Arl Eamon Guerrin and Arlessa Isolde. He made his first appearance in Dragon Age: Origins.Involvement[]Dragon Age: Origins[]The Warden may attempt to save Connor by confronting the demon in the Fade. This can be done through the use of a blood magic ritual by sacrificing and using the life force of Arlessa Isolde (provided that Jowan is still around), or by using lyrium obtained by the Circle of Magi. The latter option, however, requires that the events of the Broken Circle be completed and the mages of the Circle are still alive. In both options, a mage enters the Fade in order to destroy the demon. The mage can be a magi Warden, Morrigan, Wynne, Jowan, or if the Circle option was used, First Enchanter Irving. If a magi Warden enters the Fade in order to rescue Connor, they can make a deal with the demon in order for it to return on a later date and possess Connor again, instead of destroying the demon. The other option is to deal directly with the possessed Connor by initiating a confrontation with him in the upper floor of the castle where he retreated. By following this path, the desire demon is being destroyed, however Connor is also killed. Furthermore, if Connor survives and the Warden died killing the Archdemon, Connor will be present at the Warden's funeral standing next to Arl Eamon.Dragon Age: Inquisition[]If Connor survives the events of the Fifth Blight, and the Warden did not allow the Desire Demon to possess him, he can be encountered at Redcliffe. Connor states that he was a member of the Ferelden Circle when it dissolved, which led to him joining the mage rebellion. He admits that he originally voted against the dissolution of the Circles. Even so, he followed his fellow mages into rebellion and initially thought well of his fellow mages as before they weren't summoning demons or using magic irresponsibly. They simply wanted to police themselves. However a magister arrived and took over the rebel mages. Fearing that the mage rebels were on the brink of annihilation, Fiona indentured herself and her followers to Magister Gereon Alexius and the Tevinter Imperium - an act Connor severely disapproves of. 100% chance of appearing. Strategy[]Spawning[]Make sure that all players are on the same page before attempting to spawn Twisted Dandy. Since Dandy's shop is an important source of items that will be fully off-limits while attempting this, try to avoid bringing Toons that are more reliant on items such as Vee and Shrimpo, as they'll have a much harder time surviving. If you do intend to bring them, try to alert them to helpful Items found on floors and reserve extra for them. Some Toons that are especially well-equipped for Dandy runs include: Sprout - He's able to turn otherwise-useless Tapes into something that helps the party, try to give him any Tapes you find. Teagan - Teagan can also use Tapes, but only to heal themself. Coal/ Pebble - Pebble's Passive ability, Fetch! highlights items in the vicinity, ensuring less get left behind, while Coal's active ability, Scout, can highlight items for other players, making it even easier to find items like Health Kits or Bandages which could prove an advantage. Pebble's Speak! ability can be used to lure Twisted Dandy from anywhere on the map, redirecting him away from teammates or objectives.Gigi - Her active ability gives you a random item, so she can have more items and more saves (like getting a Speed Candy to get Twisted Dandy off someone or something, or getting a Valve to extract a machine instantly).Twisted Dandy[]As Twisted Dandy is attracted to completed machines from anywhere on the map, try to prime one. Sitting on the western shore of Lake Calenhad, the village of Redcliffe is so named for the reddish hues of the cliffs that tower above it. A path leads up into the hills and across a bridge to an island where the ancient Castle Redcliffe has stood far longer than the village itself. Redcliffe heraldry Background[]“The fate of Redcliffe is the fate of all Ferelden.” ―Calenhad Theirin[2]Redcliffe is located in the western hills of Ferelden. The village below the castle (and others under Redcliffe's authority) grew until the arling was as powerful a settlement as any teyrnir. Redcliffe Castle is the first and last line of defense for the sole land route into Ferelden and the country has never fallen to any assault that did not first take Redcliffe.Redcliffe is one of the largest and most prosperous towns in Ferelden, due to its position between Orzammar and Orlais. As such it is a center of foreign trade. Such favorable conditions caused the domain to be named an arling in spite of its small size. The citizens of Redcliffe are primarily fishermen or merchants engaged in shipping dwarven goods from Orlais. In late autumn the villagers smoke the fish they have caught, to the dismay of visiting merchants.[2]Witch Hunt[]By 9:32 Dragon, the Bannorn increasingly looked to the Arl of Redcliffe for guidance and leadership. It was speculated that if this continued, Redcliffe would become a rival of Denerim.Dragon Age: Origins[]Involvement[] Redcliffe concept art As the Warden approaches the village the first time, they will be greeted by Tomas, a member of the Redcliffe militia. Tomas will then take your party to Bann Teagan, Arl Eamon's brother, in the Chantry. There they discover that the village is under siege from undead creatures spawning from Redcliffe Castle at night. The Villagers ask the Warden and their companions to join them and lead the defense against the animated dead. 2025-03-28The village from the undead.Dragon Age: Inquisition[]Involvement[]The Monarchy offered the rebel mages sanctuary in Ferelden, in the Arling of Redcliffe. The mages gratefully accepted the offer however the Templar host pursued them across the border. Map of the new eastern district in Inquisition Chaos erupted after the explosion that caused the Breach destroyed the Chantry's peace Conclave. As the brutality of the Mage-Templar War escalated, many hunted rebel mages and apostates congregated to Fiona's refuge in Redcliffe village. Some of these foreign mage refugees were in fact Venatori infiltrators who encouraged an alliance with the Tevinter Imperium as the situation with the mage rebellion grew dire.[3] Grand Enchanter Fiona conceded to the alliance with Magister Gereon Alexius when Alexius used time warping magic to manipulate the rebel mages when they were most desperate. Alexius was also a Venatori agent and usurped Redcliffe Castle with the rebel mages' aid, banishing Arl Teagan Guerrin. With the mage rebellion's survival now dependent on their alliance with the Tevinter Imperium, Alexius changed the terms of the alliance: from protection and eventual Tevinter citizenship in exchange for indentured servitude to conscription of all the rebel southern mages into military service under his command. He then ordered his forces to displace the people of Redcliffe from their homes.Eventually however both the Venatori and the rebel mages vacate Redcliffe Village and life subsides back into normality.Places[] Gull and Lantern Redcliffe Village ChantryCharacters[]Connor Guerrin (conditional)Revered Mother EglantineElven WidowerHanley D'UrvainHinterlands HealerLysasOne-Eyed JimmyStorytellerSister TannerMerchants[]Dwarven BooksellerRedcliffe Armor & Upgrades MerchantRedcliffe Weapons & Upgrades MerchantQuests[] In Hushed Whispers The Ideal Romance The Ballad of Lord Woolsley A Healing Hand A Common Treatment An Advanced Treatment A Rare Treatment Business Arrangements Flowers for SennaCollections[]Bottles on the Wall[] Vintage: Warden Steed/ Bethany Hawke/ Carver Hawke - search inside the Wheelhouse located near the village's entrance.Landmarks[] Landmarks in the HinterlandsSongs[] Hero in Every Port (Ballad of Nuggins) - acquired from a book behind One-Eyed Jimmy's shack.Resources[] Elfroot SpindleweedNotable items[]Red Jenny's Caches[]Behind the Redcliffe Weapons and Upgrades Merchant store front.Loot[] Masterwork Battlemaster Mail - randomly available at the Redcliffe Armor & Upgrades Merchant for 14212 .
