Be some reasons in my opinion. 0 Guest Report Posted November 8, 2017 It can be because it is expensive or People want to get this game because there are so many Euro Truck videos on Youtube. so they want to buy it. 0 Report Posted November 8, 2017 This can be down to many reasons really: ATS just isn't developed enough yet for most people: in comparison to ETS2, ATS just doesn't have as much content (content meaning cities, landmarks and road etc...); many players prefer a more developed map, which at the moment, ATS just doesn't have. In addition to the above, a lot of our playerbase prefer realism, and as such, those from European countries would prefer to drive in Europe, not in America. Many players want to go to places where its busy, and there is a lot of people around: ETS2 is perfect for this, since there are many populated areas on the map. In contrast to ATS, where as you say, there just isn't many players around. As touched on briefly by ???g??, there is a lot of big VTC's around, that are primarily based in Europe. ATS is still quite an expensive game for many. As you probably know, ETS2 has been around for a long time, and therefore quite a cheap game to buy. ATS is not so cheap, and especially with the DLC content, can add up to quite a hefty amount. The old rig may have some age under its belt, but SCS Software continues to outfit it and ATS with improvements and new features, with online multiplayer support being the biggest one yet. Online multiplayer has been sought after by fans for years. Now in the new Convoy Mode, eight players can ride along together in a totally synchronized session. Traffic, weather, job, and truck details all match up between players to ensure a seamless experience. Like in ATS, however, mod support is currently not yet available. Even so, the developers are not ruling it out for the future. Regardless, there’s a lot to enjoy in this new version of the sim. That new truck smell Update 1.41 for Euro Truck Simulator also includes an expansion to an expansion. That is, owners of the recently-released Iberia map DLC can enjoy a whole new section of road network, the Autoestrada A24. Located in the picturesque countryside of Portugal, it straddles the Douro River Valley and provides another scenic route for players to haul along through. SCS admitted that this specific section of road had not been completed in time for Euro Truck Simulator’s full Iberia DLC release a few months ago, so that’s why it was patched in with update 1.41.
