BetaFlight a couple times and now I can make the motors spin....Unfortunately, now I can't make them stop spinning, even when not armed and disconnected from CleanFlight, they keep spinning.Second opinion say might be a defective FC. I'll keep at it and thank you for taking the time to reply. Vendor is sending new Ipeaka ONESHOT125 ESC replacement.I removed BetaFlight and started with OpenPilot again, flashed the firmware, went through vehicle setup and have been able to configure the quad. So the FC is working, just not with BetaFlight at the moment. I must be settling it up incorrectly in CleanFlight. I'll wait till the esc arrives then I'll go at again. Almost 2 weeks into it, and I can not figure out why cleanflight/betaflight wont work on my build.Can anyone help?I have put together a 210mm quadcopter with OP CC3D/ Ipeaka 15A ONESHOT125/ 2204 2300kV motors. After I assembled parts together, I used OP to configure and test quad. It arms, spins motors, communicates with X9D+ using SBUS connection/ FrSky X4R-SB.Went ahead and flashed Betaflight 2.5.0 (and i have tried every betaflight since 2.1.0) since im using BF on my other CC3D quad, and tried to configure using cleanflight. I leave ONESHOT on, stop motor spin off, serial connection, sbus, min thottle at 1000, mid 1500, max 2000, rssi on. I am able to configure Taranis to communicate with CleanFlight, and the moment i hit save (quad is powered since it needs to be powered to get radio communication), the motors start spinning. If I hit disconnect and remove usb from macbook, motors continue to spin. I have to unplug battery to stop motors. When I try to calibrate ESCs, I switch test on and move master all the way up, plug in battery and ESCs only make a short sound. After that, if i try to test motors, they do not spin. The only way to make the motors spin is to hit save on Receiver tab, or Modes tab, or Configuration tab...anywhere you can hit save. ...Is there a selection that I am suppose to switch? Is there a CLI command that I am suppose to enable? I do not have a clue. Turn off One Shot and see if it works as expected. When plugging in the USB cable and connect in the top left corner I get the configurator version as 10.7.0, the firmware version as 4.1.2 (as not up dated yet) and my target. I dont get the 3D model of the quad on the screen all there is is a purple font box that says BACK in capital letters. I cannot enter into any of the set up tabs including the CLI tab so i cannot enter into boot loader or flash new firmware, it is like the configurator is not recognising the flight controller. I already have the STM32 drivers installed from the previous version and the version appear to be the same so I have not downloaded and installed those at this point. I dont know what the issue is or if there is there a fix for this

Hello everyone...This is my first build using BLHeli ESC:OP CC3DPeaka MINI BLHELI 15A(oneshot252204/2300kV motorsX4R-SB I have flashed FC to BetaFlight 2.3.4. and have been able to configure the quad using CleanFlight. Taranis X9D+ communicates using sbus connection on main port and it sees all the channels correctly.However, when I try to sync motors or even test motors, when i click on switch (I have read that by clicking on switch i have removed propellers etc), it never gives me the option of selecting individual motors. Only the master switch is turned on and doesn't recognize any of the motors.I have tried to clicking ONESHOT125 on and off and it still does not give me an option to test motors. I have tried to enable ONESHOT125 in CLI command, I verify that it is turned on, and does not change a thing.I connected ESCs to pdb and signal to channels on CC3D.Not sure what I am missing...2 days into this and I have run out of ideas.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sign up now to remove ads between posts I have had a very similar problem, but in my case I it was related to oneshot being enabled in the fc and the escs had a firmware not compatible with it. In your situation I would reflash all escs and the flight controller with the latest stable version of their respective firmware and than setup the FC carefully step by step. Have a servo tester in the bench to troubleshoot while you setup the thing, it helps a lot. The FC doesn't "recognize" the motors. There is no "auto-detect". It doesn't know how many motors there are until you tell it. And it will only output control signals to the motors you've told it are attached to the FC. If the configurator doesn't show that any motors are controllable, it's because you haven't succeeded in configuring the FC for the type of multirotor you've got, it doesn't think any motors are attached. If the FC knows how many motors there are, the manual motor test will be enabled for those motors and the sliders will move even if there are no ESCs connected to the FC. I don't use BetaFlight, but most FC setups have a menu someplace where you tell the FC what it's flying, a Trike, Quad, Hex, Octo, Y6, etc.. If you haven't done that with your set up, that's probably your problem. I agree, that it sounds suspiciously like the FC board hasn't been told that you've got a quad.
