#1 I'm running macOS 14.5 on an Intel based Mac from 2019 and I have downloaded Cerberus X version 2023-05-26.Last time I used Cerberus X on macOS I don't remember if I had to do any additional setup. It just worked I believe. But this time, Ted seems to fail to initialise some properties.When Ted loads, it gives me a pop up of need to rebuild the documentation, but it does not actually doing it. Documentation is missing. I can open CX source files but I can't build them. Build targets are missing, the drop down list is empty.Any idea what am I doing wrong, what is missing?In case Ted is not compatible with this version of macOS, is there any experimental way to use Cerberus with VS Code? I remember it was talked about on the forums a few times.Thanks. #2 I am going to check that with my 2020 Intel Mac. If Ted is starting it has probably passed the gatekeeper that gets more picky with every version of iOS.If you have older releases of CX lying around you should be able to replace Ted and its files to get it working.I'll get back to you when I tried it on my Mac.My VS Code extension is not ready for Mac yet. #3 Yes GateKeeper was not a problem. Ted didn't run.When I download it on a Windows machine and copy it per USB-Stick to my Mac it asks if I really want to execute it but in the end it runs.I try to create a new release over the weekend that doesn't have those issues. #5 If I remember this is an old problem that kept coming up even with older versions of Ted and MacOS, where the Cerberus folder is within the systems Applications directory.You may find something about it somewhere around on the forum.You could try copying the Cerberus directory from to Application directory to your home folder and then from the command line change the owner, group, execute and file attribute flags for all files and folders in the copy.EDIT: If I remember the issue was with setting the extended attribute for com.apple.quarantine. #6 I created a new upload for that binary release which works here.The only quirk I saw is that when you start Ted for the first time you see a blank window with no functionality. You have to click the icon in the dock again and everything works
