Setup is covered in detail in section NPS for AWS. Microsoft Azure Resource Manager (MS Azure RM) Integrating MS Azure RM with the FlexPod DC for Hybrid Cloud solution is a three-step process: 1. Integrate Azure RM with Cisco CloudCenter 2. Setup secure connectivity between FlexPod private cloud and Azure RM 3. Configure Azure ExpressRoute service with NPS Integration with Cisco CloudCenter To successfully integrate an Azure RM account with Cisco CloudCenter and to be able to deploy applications in Azure, CCO and AMQP need to be deployed in the customer Azure RM account. Cisco does not provide the CCO and AMQP appliances for Azure deployments which means customers need to proceed with a manual installation procedure to deploy these two components. For details about the manual installation procedures for the various clouds, see After CCO and AMQP are successfully deployed and configured according to the URL above, an Azure RM cloud can be added to CCM as shown here: Before adding Azure Cloud to CCM, define a resource group in the appropriate zone of Azure RM. Similar to AWS setup, when Azure RM Cloud is added to CloudCenter, all the available instance types become available and customers can make one or more instance types available to end users for application deployments. Mapping the cloud settings are also similar to AWS but require additional fields such as Resource Group, Storage Account and Diagnostics information. If an organization requires VPN connectivity between private cloud and MS Azure RM, a Virtual network should be defined with a large enough subnet so that adequate IP address sub-ranges are available for VPN connectivity as well as VM deployments. FlexPod to Azure RM VPN Connectivity A secure site to site VPN tunnel allows application VMs at the customer location (private cloud) to securely communicate with the VMs hosted in Azure RM. According to Microsoft documentation: route-based VPN connection needs to be configured when using both Express Route and VPN GW at the same time. Since VPN connectivity to MS Azure is configured along with Express Route configuration in this scenario, a Cisco CSR is deployed

Involved on the peripherary of IP networking back in the early years, a long time ago, and have some experience with Cisco switches and routers. It was a LONG time ago, and I'm only just dipping my toe back in the water. You guys are obviously up to speed and far more knowledgeable, and any input is greatly appreciated. #14 One more question. I notice Merlin is using OpenVpn 2.5. I spoke to Express, who currently only support 2.4. Is 2.5 backward compatible? I read what I could find, it looks like there may be problems running 2.5 against 2.3, but it IS compatible with 2.4. Is that correct? Anyone have any experience of this? #15 You need to determine why your VPN doesn't work at all with either firmware before playing around with policy rules. It's probably going to be easier to debug things if you use Merlin's firmware rather than stock.I'm bit concerned with how you're testing that it's working or not. Are you in the UK? Does the WAN IP address shown by change when you enable and disable the VPN client? #16 You need to determine why your VPN doesn't work at all with either firmware before playing around with policy rules. Does the WAN IP address shown by change when you enable and disable the VPN client? Hi Colin. No, I'm not in the UK at the moment. Wish I was. Sorry for the confusion. Currently I'm running Asus stock firmware, Nord and Express work perfectly. I see my address in the UK when they're on.With Merlin when I tried it, my address stayed firmly in my country of origin. It's altogether possible I hadn't configured the rules correctly. I tried/changed so many things whilst trying to get it working, and all common sense and method went out of the window.Just to be clear before I try again:If I choose "Forced, Yes or No" all traffic goes to the vpn regardless because Nord and Express will force it to be the default. And I must include statements to send chosen non-vpn addresses to the WAN?Will that work? (Pretty sure I tried that, unsuccessfully)If I choose "Policy Rules", all traffic goes to the

That’s interesting. I suspect there is a problem with the CDN, that you get assigned a slow node. I’m located in Germany, and I decided to take the risk and try to use a VPN to get a different CDN node since pausing/resuming the download and restart Product Manager did not help. I’ve used Sweden as location via Mullvad VPN, and the download speeds have gotten much, much better. It’s not great and might lead to bogus location changes in my account, but might be a hint that something is off when it comes to the CDN.In any case, as a workaround its fine for now.Operating system: macOS Sequoia (15)This post was modified 3 months, 3 weeks ago by vadrigar. Thanks for your post! I just tried using Express VPN to connect to one of the two Sweden locations and it helped a bit, not as much as I wish, but a little better. The connection via Product Manager is staying around 20 mbps, which is still very slow. I’m on AT&T Fiber internet service with download speeds consistently around 800 mbps. No throttling happening on my end, no proxies in use, no iCloud relay either.I don’t know why the downloads are taking so long these days, hasn’t been much of a problem for me in the past, and I’ve been using Toontrack products for well over a decade.I have many Toontrack products and had hoped to get everything installed on my new MacBook pro this weekend, but with the downloads speeds being so slow, it’s not looking like a weekend will be enough time to get it all downloaded and installed – this is crazy.Operating system: macOS Sequoia (15) I can second vadrigas’s expierience above.Sitting in Frankfurt/GER (Europe’s internet line hub for what it’s worth)and also got extreme slow DL speeds for EZD 3 Core Library (estimated 70-400hrs of DL time).Saw somewhere else online the tip to try a US server via VPN, now the DL was finished in under 10 minutes!(Looks like the servers used for central european customers aren’t that great…)Maybe this will work for someone else here
