Solved OneDrive appears in File Explorer twice Thread starter Thread starter karenf Start date Start date Mar 6, 2023 Local time 10:35 AM Posts 13 OS Windows 11 64bit #1 Hi,I’ve recently bought a Windows 11 laptop, and today have installed MS Office 365 for business and my OneDrive. However, in File Explorer, OneDrive appears twice and it doesn’t look like a Quick Access shortcut. I see my OneDrive as “OneDrive” and then again as “OneDrive company name”. They both show the same content and as I’ve added some items to “Always show on this device” in the OneDrive company name folder, it is replicating this in the OneDrive folder. When I go to my OneDrive settings in the system tray, it doesn’t look like I’m used to it looking in Windows 10, so I can’t see how to tell what it is up to. The last thing I want is for it to be duplicating a sync. Maybe I don’t understand the File Explorer view of Windows 11 yet. I’m not backing up Docs, Pictures etc as I would rather keep that separate. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanksKaren. Windows 11 comes with a sleek, modern interface for File Explorer, but many users still prefer the functionality and familiarity of the classic File Explorer with its Ribbon interface. In this guide, we’ll explore how you can bring back the classic look and feel of File Explorer, including how to emulate the Windows 7 File Explorer, and how to revert to the default Windows 11 File Explorer if needed. How to Get Ribbon in Windows 11 File ExplorerThe Ribbon interface was a key feature of File Explorer in Windows 8 and Windows 10, providing quick access to commonly used tools. Blurry/Low Res Icons in Windows 11 file explorer Thread starter Thread starter biyakuga Start date Start date Apr 29, 2024 Local time 12:45 PM Posts 43 OS Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631. 3374) #1 I'm using the latest version of Windows 11 with GTX 3080TI. After a while, all the icons in the windows explorer get all blurry like in a lower resolution I have 2k Samsung Odessey G5 display. The only solution I've found is to reset the Windows Explorer which puts the icons back to normal, but after a while they'll get all blurry again. After long investigation I found that if you switch off the Explorer details/preview pane the problem will disappear and do not come back.I understand it is a bug in Windows 11 maybe someone has a solution because I want to use the details/preview pane in file explorer but right now I just can. How to remove File Explorer from suffix on Windows Taskbar? Thread starter Thread starter wazer Start date Start date Sep 30, 2024 Local time 1:00 PM Posts 7 OS 11 #1 Recent update's they have added File Explorer behind the folder name on windows taskbar, its annoying and cuts out from the path name.Has anybody figured out a way to disable this "annoying feature" by regedit or some way?Obvious this is in Danish but translate to File ExplorerSo assuming you have a folder on D drive with bin it would normally look like this on taskbar. Now this is the new standard help My Computer OS 11 #2 Haven't had any updates since 9/19.
