Specifically stated to support True Stereo, seems to have enough options to manipulate IR characteristics, and I saw it being recommended in a couple of places, although no True Stereo IRs are included. So I lean towards Fog Convolver, but what are the opinions over here? Thanks.EDIT: Now I read that MConvolutionMB could be a very good option, although it's not discounted currently and costs a bit more. I recently bought Kilohearts Convolver and am super impressed with it. Don't know about the true stereo thing with that. Maybe it's been sorted or will be sorted, but it's not been a problem to me so far.I have Waves IR-1. And even though that's a 5GB library it is worth it. Came with my Waves Gold package. Superb. Tweakable. Great read if you want to find out how all those IR's were made. Look it up.Another Convolution I jumped on early was Melda MConvolutionMB. That comes with some good IR's but it's easy to load your own. Great little plugin. A few people (like Noisia) have since jumped on to the fact it's an amazing sound design tool. Essential.I was going to buy Reverberate but the ilok shit is just a bridge too far for me. I know many people don't find this a problem. But I do.Another one I really like is the Native Instruments Reflektor. 0 Latency. love that thing to death. Comes with a few decent IR's, but hey, I got a serious IR library to draw from. This shit for over a decade now. I'm good. Reflektor is super quick to dial in and just works. If I had to rely on just one Convolution reverb then I think Fog Convolver would be up there for the most sophisticated sound design tool of them all. It's insane what you can do with this plugin. It kills them all. Having another Convolution reverb isn't really necessary when you have this. It kills. Audiothing really knocked it out the park with this little masterpiece. They even updated it recently so it's better again. First rate. It rules them all.Just going to post a couple links I posted in another thread. The best Impulse Response [IR] sites even used to be a tool that Voxengo made that you could make up your own IR's - now. But I have a copy somewhere. I seem to remember that it gave pretty good results, but a lot of them sounded the same, no matter what the parameters used. Probably user error on my part. Still, a lot of fun and some very usable IR's came out of that little session. Should fog lights be LED or halogen?LEDs have less power consumption and often weigh less, and are compact compared to a halogen bulb. However, the point is, if you are upgrading the halogen to an LED, be sure to check that the plugs on these stock lights are designed for halogen lights and that they are the same LED plugs as stock before purchasing a replacement. How to Choose Your Fog Lights? Are you buying fog lights for the first time? Here are the factors to consider when making your selection:Type of fog light plug. Most fog light plugs are only compatible with a few socket types. This is why it is so important to check the kind of socket in your vehicle before choosing a fog light.Cooling features. Some fog lights get damaged when exposed to extreme heat. If you live in a hot region, you should get a fog light with cooling features.Durability. No matter how cheap your fog lights are, you'll still find it frustrating to change the bulb at very short intervals. Do your research on the life expectancy of various fog lights before making your purchase. Is it a good idea to upgrade your factory fog lights to LED fog light bulbs?Yes, this is definitely the best upgrade. Not only do LED fog lights have a brighter light compared to halogen lights, but they will also give your vehicle a sleek and modern look. And they are definitely better than halogen lights in terms of performance and longevity, reducing the frequency of replacement due to fog light failure in the long run. What color LED fog light bulbs do people prefer?Fog lights come in two main color temperatures: 3,000K and 6,000K (or 6,500K) and these are preferred by everyone. Cool white fog lights match LED headlights for a more technological look and allow for more forward illumination. Yellow fog lights at 3,000K are more penetrating and are more likely to be preferred by drivers driving in fog, haze or snow. Is it legal to replace factory fog light bulbs with LED bulbs?Fog lights help enhance visibility. Fog Convolver version 1.1. Fog Convolver is a convolution reverb/processor plugin. This is because drivers need to drive slowly in fog and the intensity of the lights should be sufficient for low-speed driving. What is the difference between fog lights and driving lights?Fog lights are generally used to illuminate the road surface in front a car in conditions of fog, rain, and snow. They cannot be used separately from the standard low beams. Just like the fog lights, the driving lights supplement the standard beams and are used to provide illumination forward of the vehicle. Can LED fog lights replace headlights?NO. Fog lights are designed to provide additional illumination in low visibility conditions, such as fog, snow, or heavy rain. Their sockets are designed to be positioned lower than a vehicle's headlights and have a wider, shorter beam pattern than headlights. Therefore, the low positioned and short-range distance fog lights will not provide you with as good a view as headlights. If you wish to improve forward lighting, you can order suitable LED headlight bulbs. When should fog lights be used?Just because there’s a fog doesn’t necessarily mean you need to turn on your fog lights right away. The Highway Code states that fog lights should only be used when visibility is affected by more than 100 meters. It’s good practice to avoid using fog lights when there are other drivers in front of you, so make sure you use them wisely for your own and other people’s safety. For more information on the rules for using fog lights read the blog WHAT ARE THE FOG LIGHTS AND WHEN TO USE THEM? Should you turn off fog lights for oncoming traffic?Yes. Fog lights must be used like your high beams: turned off when within 500 feet of an oncoming vehicle and within 350 feet when following another vehicle. Forward-pointing fog lights must be white, amber, or yellow.
