Forscan lite

Over the weekend, I spent some time with forscan to make some modifications to my 2022 F350 Platinum. I was reading a different thread on enabling OCR and in that thread a few of the users mentioned that they monitored the exhaust gas temps, and one posted a picture of something showing it. They also mentioned that they new when they were in a regen process, while driving. My question is how are they doing that? Is it with the Bluetooth adaptor for Forscan and they are able to view that in Forscan lite on their mobile device? Any guidance is appreciated. There are 4 sensors if I remember correctly. And it's obvious when you're in regen based on the temps. First I need recommendations on what all I need to purchase in order to get started. Also please chime in with any helpful tips that could help us newbies. I have looked at some of the other threads on here regarding forscan, but they are a little overwhelming for the beginner. I am old school to say the least and I'm not very savy with computers/electronics so I need all the help I can get. Thanks in advance for any input you guys could share to help us dummies! Cool, but if someone has little to no computer experience then one that plugs into the laptop would make things easier. Once you you have a OBDII Scan tool (connector) then you only need to download the free Forscan software. In order to make it function fully you have to sign up for a free account.
