I have been trying to "view" my Apple ID password without resetting it. I recently reset it and it's allowing me to log in on both my Mac and my iPhone with touch and faceID but the Apple ID password is not showing up in my keychain. On an iPhone passwords are not stored in Safari, they are saved in the Keychain app, which is accessed by Safari and apps. You can access Keychain by going to Settings/Passwords. Another option is to install Chrome, sync it to your Google account, then go to Settings/Passwords/Password Options and check Chrome.
