In all X570 Motherboard Bios…Im not sure if they did…but if you got the solo to work on X570 they might have addressed the issue…X870 is the latest platform so I doubt they care about Solo and Quad compatibility…it’s 20 year old tech…who can blame them?The amount of people using solo and Quads on cutting edge machines is tiny I would guess…Im rocking 2 x FireWire Quads on my X570 so this is an option on your windows machine….get a cheap quad for £120 and a FireWire card…but you’ll be frozen at UAD v 11 driver if you do. #13 Try pci ex 16 (long slot) Will try this #14 My email to Gigabyte support….The UAD-2 SOLO, DUO and QUAD cards use an earlier generation FPGA that supports 12 addresses, which was the previous standard implementation.The UAD-2 Octo cards (which are working) are based on a later generation FPGA, which can support 36 addresses with compatible firmware. On your 2nd question in your 1st post:Music City has got 3 articulations (besides Mute) on the Crash Cymbals – Crash, Ride & Bellother than that there is only the Roots SDX:s that are sampled with several articulations on the Crash Cymbals. The Ride Cymbals are in general sampled with 3-5 articulations.When you write When I xdrum it into Roots sticks, it’s loosing more than half of the articulation.Is that what you experience in the response when you are playing or are you meaning something else?Could you provide me with a Project where you have tried to set things up as you want them?awesome sounds like Music City is what Im looking for. thanks for that info.as for my original question….I dont have a project saved. And yes when I play it Im only getting those articulations. In the Roots Kit, If I goto the Mapping tab, I hit the bell of the HH with my foot on the pedal and I get “Tight Tip”(which is what I want) I open it up slightly and hit the HH and Im getting “Open2”. I’d like “Open1” but whatever open2 is fine. and then from there no matter how much more I open the HH it’s stays on “Open2″ even fully opened. The Edge trigger is going thru full articulation. That is working fine. Again, this is when I xDrum the 13″Avatar HH into the Roots kit. If I xDrum all the Roots drums into the Avatar kit, the 13” Avatar HH plays exactly how I want it.sorry for repeating myself. Im really new to VSTs. My end goal is to get these working in Reaper, but currently Im just trying to get it right in Toontrack solo first. Im so close, I know HH’s are a pain for most. If im lucky they will do a new bios I don’t think it’s worth it…you are on a new platform and if Gigabyte do send you a bios you’ll be frozen at that bios…No good on a new platform when Bios updates are regularly released to address bugs and performance enhancements along with security fixes.X570 was a mature platform so the Bios they sent me was already stable and tweaked…. #16 I had almost the same problem. My mainboard is B550 F Asus. and my uad solo was working but periodically it could just stop responding. I did all recommendations from UA with Windows but that didn’t help much. And one day my card just completely stopped working whatever pci ex1 slot I was using. Then I red one of the threads on gearspace (gearslutz) and tried pci ex16 slot. And now it is working well. #17 I had almost the same problem. My mainboard is B550 F Asus.and my uad solo was working but periodically it could just stop responding. I did all recommendations from UA with Windows but that didn’t help much. And one day my card just completely stopped working whatever pci ex1 slot I was using. Then I red one of the threads on gearspace (gearslutz) and tried pci ex16 slot. And now it is working well. On most modern motherboards there's only one PCIe x16 slot, and it is normally for the graphics card. So I guess if your fix works, I'll need to remove my GPU

Did you? This is my favourite piece from Undertale. I lost motivation for my piano lessons about 3 years ago, so stopped. I asked my teacher if I could learn this and it has been fantastic. It is a bit hard in places but getting it right is really exciting and motivating. What Im playing is exactly what it sounds like and there arent any "bits missing". Did you? It sounded a lot like the actual song, it was hard but it was quite worth it. You can easily find out how the whole song sounds like on youtube. It made up to my expectations and im happy.
