Bestitcorp Apple only supports macOS through Catalina on the Late-2013 iMac. The A1418 model iMac was manufactured from Late-2012 through mid-2017.Only the 2017 manufactured year or later iMacs qualify to install macOS Ventura. Either you are mistaken about the manufacture year of the iMac, or you used software tools that violate Apple's license agreement to install Ventura on an earlier unsupported iMac. Trying to update software on iMac (Retina 5K, Late 2015) model to Sonoma. On the App Store it says it is compatible with this Mac so unsure why when I go to update it says it isn't? When i check for a software update, it indicates there are no further pdates. I suspect that what I need to do is upgrade the system to macos ventura or monterey, but i cannot figure out how to do that.
