Any participant that shares their screen will see the button to enable or disable Annotation:All others may write on the screen by choosing the Pencil Icon. You will see the icon on the lower right-hand corner: You will be able to choose a color to write with by hovering the pencil: The host controls the setting to show or not show the annotator's name on the screen: When you write on the screen, if the host has enabled the show annotator's name setting, it will show your name to indicate who is writing at that time: The annotation will automatically disappear within approximately 5 seconds.
