Apr 10, 2006 8:08 PM in response to LUFC18 Not with my PC, but I was thinking of buying a 5th generation iPod and was checking out those forums...seems to be a common occurance. But maybe it is fixed with the newest iPod updater Assuming you have a video 5th gen... you did not say. Apr 11, 2006 8:13 AM in response to Katrina S. Yeah it is a fifth gen pod with the latest software 1.1.1 but it seems to be itunes, have the latest version of it but although it knows there is artwork on there it isn't displaying ANY images, ones saved to albums but also through the itunes store! I'm stuck big time! Apr 13, 2006 3:04 PM in response to LUFC18 Has this happened to anyone else???? Itunes won't display ANY artwork, from the store or the artwork i already had in itunes! Even when i try and put new artwork in it just goes blank! It's becoming a real pain, I've got the latest downloads but no solution, PLEAS HELP ME! Apr 14, 2006 10:14 AM in response to LUFC18 First off, WAV files do not have ID3 tags. Make sure your ID3 tags are v2.3. To see what I mean, highlight one song > right-click > Convert ID3 tags From what I have been told, iTunes by default uses v2.1 tags ehn it rips songs. But v2.3 is needed for storing artwork and lyrics. Now why iTunes doesn't automatically convert to v2.3 when artwork is added, I don't know. But maybe that is why your artwork goes wonky. Also, do you use Windows Media Player? Because that has some settings where it goes on the internet and updates songs automatically. No idea why your purcahsed songs don't display art. I have never had a problem with purchased songs + artwork. May 14, 2006 12:19 PM in response to Katrina S. Please help me. I downloaded music through my itunes account that plays on my computer but not my iPod. The album cover images are there, but the ipod skips the songs until it gets to a song I uploaded from my own CD collection. Thanks!.
