Robert Loren Phillips died January 26, 2024 at Olson Manor. Bob was born in Midland, Michigan, on April 22, 1936, to Homer and Rose (Boakes) Phillips. He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Lee (Dayringer) Phillips, and his son, David Loren Phillips. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, Halie and Nate McNulty, sons Atticus and Oliver. Also surviving is his sister in-law and her husband, Sue and Lee Fiese of Athena, Oregon; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins all sharing fond memories of the past.Bob graduated from Midland High School in 1955. He served proudly and honorably in United States Army stationed at Ft. Lewis in Washington. Bob and Anita Lee Dayringer were married on November 1, 1959 at Trinity Lutheran Church where both are members. Bob owned and operated Phillips Vacuum Center for 34 years and was a well-respected business owner in the community. Bob and Anita were active in the antique car hobby for many years, went to car shows and on countless car tours. They enjoyed being line dancers in years past. Bob and Anita enjoyed over 20 years of being antique vendors. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his only sibling, Betty Phillips. All are invited to a celebration of Bob’s life to be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Danielle Shealy officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service.
