MC-Edit Unified v1. is not responsive. - GitHub
A totally headless server, getting rid of the Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse! Thanks, and happy Easter ;-)As an alternative you could run any number of utilities for that purpose. I have been using Unified Remote for over a year without issue. I don't think it is just a JRemote2 issue. It's just that my MC Servers sometimes don't seem to respond, because the Library Server isn't visible to BingoSSDP or JRemote2, even when the MC DLNA Server on that PC is visible. Very strange. Example: Press copy. Instead of doing it immediately, it will copy 2 seconds later. It can be extremely annoying if you keep using it. This is the main reason why I still use the old MC-Edit Unified v1.5.6.0 because that version doesn't do it. Please fix this. Ok, thank you. I have Mc edit unified open, but I m struggling with opening the world still Reply reply Jabber267 You should have a world folder with a level 128 kbit MP3's music files through some small amplified speakers connected directly to the sounds card. And I don't understand why most of the audiophiles persist to use Foobar as a main playback software.I have done several critical listening test with my setup using headphones and speakers, Foobar is not the best player for me.JRiver MC sounds best, cPlay sounds second best with FLAC files, winamp v2.22 with KS out plugin sounds third best, but foobar2000 sounds lifeless and non-dynamic to me. Logged JRiver MC sounds best, cPlay sounds second best with FLAC filesThis is also my experience. JRiver MC is so much easier to use than cPlay, and plays so many other formats (like SACD ISO), that it is the obvious choice. It is worth noting that many of these differences are very subtle, and differences between recordings are far larger.PCs were not designed to do real time tasks, and so many of the subtle sound differences are related to compromises necessary to be an all-purpose device. Convert LDAP Synchronized User to Local User When you synchronize your LDAP directory with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, for LDAP-synchronized end users, you cannot edit any of the fields within the End User Configuration window unless you convert the LDAP-synchronized user to a local user. To edit to an LDAP-synchronized field in the End User Configuration window, convert the user to a local user. However, if you perform this conversion, the end user will not be updated when Cisco Unified Communications Manager synchronizes with the LDAP directory. 2025-03-31Topic: Network drives are not showed in MC (Read 34470 times) Network shares are not showed in MC but perfectly showed in Explorer. Why? « Last Edit: April 13, 2017, 14:46:23 by Suncatcher » Logged It is because you are running MC as admin.A admin session do not by default share the same shares as the user sessions.Normally when you start MC as admin first time you are ask to enable "linked connection", That is a req hack in windows that enable so this will work.(But it depends on what Windows version you run.)You can type ":EnableLinkedConnections" in the commmad line field to set this. Then you need to reboot since this will change a settings for Windows. Logged But it depends on what Windows version you runI run Win7 Ultimate. Created this key in registry but that didn't help. Maybe there are some other actions I should do? Logged Then you did not create it correct. Did you use the command or did you do it manually.and did restart windows afterwards?( I assume that it is not only the device toolbar where they are missing, but everywhere. like dropdown too, and that you can not access it even if you tell it to go to that path. If it is only the they are missing in the device toolbar, but you can access them.. then you have just disabled the network drives in the settings for the device toolbar) « Last Edit: April 13, 2017, 15:56:21 by Mathias (Author) » Logged Did you use the command or did you do it manually.and did restart windows afterwards?Manually. Here is my key. What command line field are you talking about? Logged Well I cant see if that settings is in the correct place.. but if you followed MS guide for it then it is probably correct.the commandline field in MC, the field where you can enter commands. Also double check that you do not only have turned off the settings to show the icons.. 2025-04-06I edit rather basic projects (cuts and Essential Graphics lower thirds, some transitions, few effects) from H.264 camera source clips, on an M1 Pro MacBook Pro with 32GB unified memory, and don’t bother with proxies any more because editing flows smoothly enough with original clips. A current M2 MacBook Air should be comparable to that, and should run Premiere Pro well. You might get away with 16GB unified memory, but maxing out the M2 Air at 24GB would be better to make more unified memory available for GPU acceleration, especially if you keep multiple applications open.I used to edit on a 2011 MacBook Pro. Other than possibly not needing to use proxies on 2K/4K source clips, the differences during editing that you will probably notice between your 2012 Intel Mac and a new M1/M2 Apple Silicon Mac are dramatically increased GPU acceleration (the GPU in a 2012 is pretty weak by today’s standards), little to no lag thanks to the combination of GPU acceleration, video codec hardware acceleration, and a lot more CPU cores; and Apple Silicon power efficiency means heat/fan noise should be much lower or hard to notice most of the time. Hopefully you are already seeing these benefits on your Mac Studio.
