Open a black small screen (opening opera animation) on the screen, opening for a second, closing, and this process repeating three or four times before giving up. In the task manager it says a opera crash reporter was on in the background too. I came back from school today and now the black screen thing happens, but a opera gx logo appears. is there anything youve done to fix anything similar to this? The problem with My flow on Opera GX - Opera forums

10 PC and has never had Opera browser before. It does have Google Chrome browser installed however, my previous browser. After I restarted my computer I realized that opera would rarely open and if it did no pages would load. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and also logging into a local windows account instead of using my microsoft account but nothing seems to work.

Or at least it wasn't, I haven't checked if things have changed but before you would have to build Chromium with hardware acceleration enabled.As to the ads, the browser would require to have an ad blocker automatically built in.But yeah, I've been pretty busy with work.
