Best LED Software (Synapse vs Mystic Light vs OpenRGB vs SignalRGB) Thread starter christopher.neuhause14c402ce Start date Dec 22, 2023 #1 So I'm curious on thoughts for all of the above. I've been struggling to find software that's both efficient (less resources) and functional. My experience so far is that Mystic light does a good job at what I'm looking for, and takes up a moderate amount of resources (13700kf, 32gig). It doesn't recognize my ASUS GPU (3080 OC) which is a shame, but that's ok. I tried OpenRGB, and that worked well, took up a small amount of resources, but I had difficulty getting my Corsair fans on the CorsairARGB connection to recognize properly. I was asked multiple times for the number of LEDs in the chain and each LL120 has 16 (x6 fans), I entered that into the program and it still had serious issues. Open RGB kept changing my fan color when I changed MOBO colors and schemes etc.SignalRGB wasn't intuitive, it was a sloppy mess from my experience, didn't have the functionality that I was looking for, and... if you have to have 12 pop-ups to explain your software upon startup, then you've failed at the UI. More thought needs to go into that program.Any thoughts? #2 I have a full MSI set up, so mystic light is a no brainer for me.If ASUS has its own RGB control program, instal it and mystic light might see it. I know I need iCue for mystic light to see my Corsair RAM and mouse mat. #3 What about : used that before without much issue and it has similar features, etc.....Personally, I just use MSI Center/Mystic Light because I'm lazy.....but I understand why someone wouldn't want to. It is a bit of a resource hog...... #4 Using OpenRGB as. HI I have tried, Mystic light 2 and Mystic light 3 Mystic Light 3: 3. and 3. Mystic Light 2: 2.
