NBA Live 16 Face Scan Vs NBA 2K Face Scan

From the default rosters that I’m now stuck with. On one hand, I’d prefer Rose to still be in Chicago if I were to ever start a Bulls Dynasty in NBA Live 16. On the other hand, it’s annoying to have lost those updates and content.Honestly, the loss that bugs me the most is the face scan for my Rising Star player. It wasn’t the best scan – my NBA Live 18 and 19 scans turned out much better – but it was still preferable to the limited customisation with the default faces. The Summer Circuit and LIVE Run obviously aren’t available now that online support has ended, but Rising Star is still playable, and I might’ve been keener to revisit it with a player that had my face (slightly discoloured by shadow as it may have been). I’d hoped that that data would’ve been retained in my save file, though given my experiences with reinstalling NBA 2K titles, I should’ve known that the face scan would be wiped.Needless to say, just as there’s no way to retrieve those lost roster updates, there’s no way to perform another face scan without a working companion app, and servers to send that data through to NBA Live 16. Indeed, after all these years, minimal legacy support, new phones, and several Android updates, I’m not sure that face scanning with NBA Live 19’s companion app still works, either. Having already lost my scan for NBA Live 16, I’m not about to mess around OFFICIAL NBA LIVE 16 FACE SCAN THREAD. It seems likely that we'll see a few other Legends getting their faces scanned for the game. While it'll be cool to have them in looking more realistic in Ultimate Team, I'm hoping that the Legends presence in NBA Live 16 will extend beyond UT, and that we'll also have Decade All-Stars, or even some historic teams; something playable in other modes. If so that's great, watching screenshots of legends in UT made me realize how different they look from a scanned player and mostly those legends look bad. I wouldn't worry about scanning old legends because I'm quite sure EA artists can make them look younger and like their playing years. Also it could be because he's the associate head coach of the Charlotte Hornets, who knows. The week is in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter, which means it’s time for the Sunday Substitute! It’s the article where I get some valuable minutes while the star is resting on the bench. I might not have the time to do this every week, but I like to think I’m still making a contribution to the team. Since it looks like NBA Live 18 will be released this year, I figured it would be a fantastic opportunity to look back at NBA Live 16 and determine what features are worth salvaging. For this article, I’m going to focus on the player upgrade system.I really love the player creation and upgrade system in NBA Live 16. It began for me with the most seamless face scan I have ever done in any video game. I’m not sure how everyone else went with it, but I know that my player in NBA Live 16 looks much more like me than any player I’ve created in the NBA 2K series. But my appreciation for player customisation in NBA Live 16 has gone far beyond that since I bought a full copy of the game. Not only is the player upgrade system an excellent feature in NBA Live 16, but I believe it is superior to that of NBA 2K16, and even NBA 2K17. I know it’s a big call – since the NBA 2K games have the advantage in most areas – but I think NBA Live 16 had some intuitive features when it comes to upgrading created players. So, here are the player upgrade features that I not only love in NBA Live 16, but I think should be considered for NBA Live 18.Upgrade Individual AttributesWhen it comes to upgrading attributes, the simplest way is often the best. In NBA Live 16, the user can upgrade individual attributes. So, if you think your player needs improvement in stealing the ball, their quickness across the court, or shooting the ball from a specific range, you can improve these skills without improving the entire category they fall under. It makes a lot of sense, doesn’t it?On top of being able to upgrade individual attributes, you can also see your ratings in the categories they fall under. This allows you to see numerically what your strengths and weaknesses are as a player. The most recent NBA 2K titles have represented these categorical ratings through graphs. While these make for interesting visual guides, it can often be hard to quantify just how good your player really is in specific areas. This could just be a personal preference, but I believe numerical ratings convey a player’s skill so much clearer.Unlock In-Game AbilitiesIn conjunction with upgrading

Simply being able to play with some Legends All-Star teams, or place them on custom teams, or whatever - outside of Ultimate Team - would be very welcome. Dynasty Mode needs to be beefed up somewhat, especially after what 2K did with MyLEAGUE. A Coaching Carousel and/or GM Mode in Dynasty would be a big start in making that mode fun. cdj Posts: 18Joined: Wed Sep 03, 2008 9:56 am WebsiteTwitter Return to NBA Live 16 Who is online Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 0 guests

With it to find out! A face scan isn’t necessary to enjoy career modes – a couple of my favourite MyCAREER games are proof of that – but it would’ve been a novelty, and more interesting in screenshots. And of course, it bugs me that it was my fault and easily preventable. I could’ve just weathered the ejection issue while grabbing the screenshots I needed. Alternatively, I could’ve uninstalled another game that I’ve already lost updates and content in, to see if my data could be copied over to the digital version of NBA Live 16. I probably could’ve just installed NBA Live 16 on my PS5, since the screenshots I needed didn’t require the roster and content updates. I was too impatient though, and paid the price. Of course, that data really should remain behind when you uninstall games rather than being deleted along with them, but design flaws aside, I knew the risks of reinstalling.Fortunately, I was able to avoid this issue on PC when my old desktop crashed last year. For years now, I’ve ensured that I back up the sync.bin and other data files for NBA 2K on PC, just in case I have to reinstall the games or restore them for any other reason. Once I’d reinstalled those games through Steam, it was simply a matter of copying those files from my backup drive to the appropriate folders. Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be any way to do this with the console releases of those games.
