excel.

I was able to do this only in OBS versions . In later versions, the same codec began to encode in 4:2:0 Or is someone on the way transcoding to 4:2:0? If you set the Keyframe Interval to 1 in versions newer than 27, OBS freezes when recording. In versions , it does not freeze with any codec settings. New Features in OBS 27! OBS 27 is now available for download as a release candidate from the OBS website. Some of the big new features are all about OBS Tablet Remote: Compat Package for OBS 27 and before: #1 Last Sunday (May 30, 2021), I streamed my church session for 2 hours without a single error.I upgraded OBS from 26.1.2 to 27 yesterday, and this morning for my church streaming session, there were 13% frames skipped due to encoding lag. See the screenshot. Does anybody have similar issues? There are no configuration changes from last Sunday, except upgraded to OBS 27. Thanks. #2 Same here - I've noticed a big difference - CPU load up higher and skipped frames from encoding too. have gone down from 1080 to 936p adn now 720 to try to survive. need to figure out how to roll back to previous version #3 I'm having exactly the same problem and I'm desperated because I use OBS to teach online. Is maybe the problem related with Skype? It seems that I got a lot of Skipped frames due to encoding lag when using Skype but not when using OBS alone. #4 I've also had issues with "rendering lag" didn't know it was a thing until I started searching through this awesome OBS Forum. Don't know how rendering lag affects encoding lag or vice versa but this might help. Basically turn off "Hardware acceleration" in Google Chrome or any browser you use. and also uncheck "Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration" in OBS settings.I've posted this solution here with more info below. I use OBS with an Imac 2017 and Macbook Pro 2019 and have seen this problem on both machines. Hope this helps or at least assists with the process of elimination. YouTube/OBS streaming running super sluggish on Macbook:( Hi guys, My YouTube channel has been growing quickly but my shows lately have been getting completely ruined by this issue. I don't know if there's anything that can be done. From the moment I open OBS,

But I DON'T NEED IT.I DEFINITELY need StreamFX and Downstream-Keyer. But I don't see those available through Flatpak. Is there some other method?I ALSO need the "browser" source because there are many things I want to do with that. So, I uninstalled the Flatpak version of OBS and rebooted...3. Alternative OBS InstallsIn Add/Remove Software, if you search for obs you will get a long list of items. There are several "alternative" versions of OBS Studio, including:obs-studio-browserobs-studiuo-rcobs-studio-tytan652These claim to support everything except service integration, which is fine with me. However...I TRIED to install using Pamac (Add/Remove): - obs-studio-browser 27.2.4-2 - Repository: AUR - Maintainer: tytan652 - Last Modified: Tues 05 Jul 2022 03:37:42 PM EDTDOES NOT INSTALLEach one has a dependency called "ffmpeg-obs" which is a modified version of the standard ffmpeg. I'm not going to replace the regular ffmpeg and risk messing up something else on my system. Many other programs on my system rely on ffmpeg.IMHO its the wrong approach to modify another, widely used app (ffmpeg) instead of finding some other solution. I certainly don't want to offend anyone who may have spent hours or days working on the above solution, but I just don't agree with it.the Flatpak install did NOT require a custom ffmpeg so I don't see why I should mess with my default system apps.4. Current Best Solution IMHO: obs-studio-gitAt this point I was pretty frustrated and I was about to give up. But, then I tried...Installed using Pamac (Add/Remove): - obs-studio-git 27.2.0.777-1 - Repository: AUR - Maintainer: benklett - Last Modified: Sun 27 Mar 2022 05:40:55 PM EDTPLUGINS INSTALLED:obs-downstream-keyerobs-streamfxNOTESIt is installed through the default installer with no command line tweaks or hacks. Both plugins installed and seem to work. I will need to do some streaming to test them"browser" source IS AVAILABLE and works!!There is NO Twitch account integration (which is fine). I'm using my stream key.CONCLUSIONI've seen so much discussion about why OBS is missing features on Manjaro (or Arch because Manjaro is based on it). I even watched a Youtube video where the OP explained in detail why this and that doesn't work

#1 I know this may look like a duplicate, but I have not found someone with the exact same problem as I have...When I use my headset with OBS I get a static noise, this ONLY appears when my mic is on. If I turn it off, no static noise. And if I have the mic on and turn off OBS the static noise also disappears, so there must be some conflict between running OBS and have the mic on.Headset: Logitech G533Log attached. 2018-02-27 02-21-18.txt 12 KB · Views: 47 #3 Is this noise appears in video recordings you made? No, not from my recording tests. #4 I'm starting to think if this has something to do with me hearing myself in the mic when I'm talking. The sound is very low though. I tried to talk with and without the mic on and OBS closed , no sound from the mic in the headset but when I talk in the mic with OBS on there is clearly a difference in sound when talking with and without mic. #6 Fixed it! Well, now I feel kinda dumb, but also happy :)In my case I think the only problem I had was with the setting my headset software program was using, called "Biljud" on Swedish (I'm not sure about the English translation for this, maybe "around sound" or something?). It was set to 100, dropped it to 0 and the noise disappeared. Easy as that! I also did some other things before this so I will list them below since maybe they also took part in this fix.1. Opened up my microphone settings (bottom right corner, right click the sound icon and choose "record settings"), then disabled all of my other record devices that my computer had found, the only record device active should be your mic your using.2. Then I clicked on my microphone and "settings". Went to "advanced" and unmarked the box "Allow other programs to take full control over this device".3. Also changed the channel Hz from 44100 to 4800 (this I also did in OBS in audio settings).Link to my short guide about the steps I made to make it disappear: this helps somebody!
