#1 A storm crashed my computer (Win 10) that I had been using OBS. I bought a new computer that has Win 11, and installed OBS on it (latest version). I'm running a streaming device that goes into the USB port. OBS shows an audio signal from the video device, but in System Settings, the OBS app doesn't show any signal, and there is no audio output to the speakers. The audio mixer setting was set to monitor off by default. I set to "monitor and output" which fixed the problem. This same thing probably happened years ago with my old computer, but I forgot about it.

Ensure your 144 Hz gaming monitor is plugged into your gaming computer via DVI, while your Razer Ripsaw is plugged in via HDMI. Go to your gaming computer's "Screen Resolution", and set your Razer Ripsaw to act as an extended desktop; that is Gaming monitor = "1" and Razer Ripsaw = "2". Download and open OBS on your gaming computer. Set up OBS to "1920 x 1080 – 60 FPS" in your Razer Ripsaw-virtual desktops, not your gaming monitor screen. Go to "Advanced Settings" and disable encoding during preview. The resulting stream to OBS will be at a very minimal footprint on your gaming computer. Add source of the game from Gaming Monitor 1 to OBS. Open OBS on your streaming computer, and add Razer Ripsaw source as "1920 x 1080 at 60 FPS". Drag OBS on the gaming computer across into the preview on the streaming computer. #1 I'm trying to download obs on my usb stick witch I checked and it has enough storage on it but every time it says "error writing to file"then it says a random file name. #2 Then please try to avoid downloading directly to usb. Could you find a computer which you can use with some free hard disk space?Does the usb stick have barely enough available storage space, of dozens of GBs? Do you have many (small) files at the usb stick? #3 i have one small file on usb but there is more than enough storage and my computer has somthing taking up space but im not sure what it isalso thank you #4 Are you downloading the OBS installer from the official website? It sounds strange to hear that "it says a random file name". Downloading the OBS installer from the net by using a normal webbrowser shouldn't come along with a random file name.Maybe your usb stick is a honky hoax. As advised by WBE try to download the OBS installer file to a local storage disk on your computer and transfer it afterwards to the stick (to see where exactly the problem arises). #5 it doesn't say "a random file" it just says different file names that OBS has to download for it to work. Also as I said before there is not enough storage on any local storage disks on my computer. #6 The official OBS full installer is 86 Megabytes now. Not Gigabytes, nor Terabytes. I'm afraid: If you don't have spare diskspace in the order of nearby 100 Megabytes, your computer will suffer from other problems too, i think.
