I've been using that setup for the last couple months on my MacBook Pro. USB support for printers can be somewhat spotty at present, but the Parallels team's recommendation of connecting via Ethernet works great with my HP B9180 printer. Also, supposedly advanced USB support is forthcoming, but I'm quite happy with my Parallels>Ethernet>Printer combination. Alternatives to Parallels Desktop on M1
You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. My Google account is setup so it's passkey-only, so to sign into Chrome I need to be able to use the passkey that's saved in my Apple account.I had initially noticed that Bluetooth wasn't enabled in Parallels, so I did that. The issue is that when the QR code shows up, I scan it on the iPhone & wait for it to connect to Parallels to finish the sign-in, nothing happens. Yes Bluetooth onWin11 via Parallels does not work. I reported this earlier and have received confirmation from Parallels that this is the case.A workaround for you is to use a password manager that supports passkeys. I have today verified that Bitwarden and 1password works on WIn11/Parallels with my Gmail account authenticated with a passkey. Is there any update on bluetooth usage on Win11 via parallels? Trying to use a passkey from my iphone via the cross-device authentication QR code, but the iphone and the windows dont seem to see eachother. Share This PageParallels Desktop Alternatives for Mac:

Tags: activation error internet connection parallels desktop 11 sierra Dear all, there are already at least 2 similar threads with the same topic but without any solution so far.I just completely reinstalled my iMac mid2011 from scratch (after reformatting the drives).I used the latest OSX supported for that model which is 10.13.6 High Sierra (where Parallels 11 was running fine before I formatted the drives).During the Parallels 11 installation process I was asked to enter my account data for activation. It failed with the following error message: "Check your Internet connection". My internet connection is fine! I am just logged in in my Parallels account and downloaded my P11 copy from there (plus the license key).I think Parallels has changed something with the activation servers (I faced the same issue with Adobe Lightroom 6, but there was a workaround for this). Can you please support me and tell me how to activate my copy of Parallels 11 on OSX 10.13.6.? I payed for it and legally own it (without any expiration date)! I think I should be able to install and use it.Thank you very much! To make things clear. Product is "Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac". I entered correct mail-address and password for my parallels account. After confirmation - the error message "Check your Internet connection" appears. From my experience with Adobe Lightroom 6 activation I think there it was related to an update of the Adobe activation servers to TLS 1.2.Please Parallels Support - held the users with this activation issue. I am not alone. Thanks again. I already tried which exactly describes my problem. But after executing all the steps the problem still exists. Also tried that has not solved the problem either. You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. I have Windows XP Pro installed via Boot Camp. When I run my favorite radar application GR Level 3 when booted directly into XP, it works flawlessly. When I load the BC partion via Parallels however, GR won't display the radar. I know the radar image is smoothed with 3D support of some kind. I thought Parallels 3, having 3D support, would be able to handle this.I know this an obscure program, but I'd appreciate if anyone has anything to try. Probably not going to work. Parallels DirectX support isn't complete, and it does not support DirectX 9 yet. To quote from the GR Level 3 website:GRLevel3 uses your graphics hardware more than most applications. It accesses the hardware through DirectX 9. Ah, DX9, forgot Parallels didn't support that yet. Thanks for the heads-up. Share This PageParallel Space Alternatives for Android

Parallels Tools install hangs at 51% after which a check of Win10 Device Manager shows that Audio drivers are not installed at all -- nothing.Running P 13.1.1 on MBPT 13 (2016) High Sierra 10.13.1 Hello @Lago di Cuba , please follow the steps provided at to install Parallels Tools and check if it works. Thanks Went to the KB and uninstalled Tools, rebooted, did a fresh install of Tools. Same issue persists: no Audio drivers are installed, Tools install hangs at 51%.No anti-virus running, no firewall, etc.Running release version of Windows Creator (1709/16299.19). Have been running Parallels/Windows 10 for a year, this is the first time I've encountered this issue. Hello @Lago di Cuba , please follow the steps suggested at and check if it works. Thanks I appreciate your good intentions. However, KB4841 seems to be the same as KB8969 i.e. 'uninstall Parallels Tools, reboot, reinstall Parallels Tools.Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Unfortunately, the problem persists. IMHO something is wrong with 13.1.1 tools re: audio drivers! Tried again this morning to fix the lack of Parallels Audio drivers in my Win10 VM. Ran Windows trouble shooter, which said to 'reinstall drivers'. Let Windows search for drivers and tried to install what it found. Driver installation failedWould really like to get some support for this issue: Parallels 13.1.1/MacOS 10.13.1 on 13" MBPTB. Numerous attempts to reinstall Parallels Tools have failed -- installation always hangs at 51%. Hi @Lago di Cuba , please follow the steps suggested in the article and let us know if that works. Thanks for the suggestion.I think what I'll probably do, instead, is just delete and re-install the entire VM -- both Parallels and Win10. Start fresh.I don't use Windows for anything critical -- it's just a diversion for me -- so cleaning out the old, likely corrupted, VM and building a new one is no big deal. Share This Page.
