WHEA-Logger Error 17 Flooding Event Viewer X99s Sli Plus Board Thread starter omni_gamer Start date Sep 27, 2014 #1 Maybe someone can help. I've re-installed Windows (8.1 update 1). Updated and removed every driver on the MSI site, Removed the cards and tried single and sli setups, removed other PCIE cards (Soundblaster Zxr). I've set the PCIE lanes down to 2.0, Chosen the PCI Express root port driver manually from windows, Tried all 3 bioses that MSI offers for this board and have set board to stock and overclock setting. For the life of me I still cannot get event viewer to stop producing WHEA-Logger Event ID 17 errors. 2025-03-31WHEA-Logger Error 17 Flooding Event Viewer X99s Sli Plus Board Thread starter omni_gamer Start date Sep 27, 2014 #1 Maybe someone can help. I've re-installed Windows (8.1 update 1). Updated and removed every driver on the MSI site, Removed the cards and tried single and sli setups, removed other PCIE cards (Soundblaster Zxr). I've set the PCIE lanes down to 2.0, Chosen the PCI Express root port driver manually from windows, Tried all 3 bioses that MSI offers for this board and have set board to stock and overclock setting. For the life of me I still cannot get event viewer to stop producing WHEA-Logger Event ID 17 errors.
