The game couldn’t have been done better. the mechanics, art style, and THE UI IS GREAT. A friend of mine said the UI was overhelming, but he’s just got brain rot. I love this game. This game is very relaxing and is fun to play when trying to take your mind off something. The potion mechanics are fun and interesting and I love all of the different merchants you can encounter. The point system isn't anything to gasp over, but I think it gives the player something to look forward to completing. Overall, the game is very fun and engaging. As in real life, it requires dedication and perseverance, which do not always go hand in hand with casual game philosophy. The system of moving along the alchemical map will entice you to experiment for a few hours in search of the ultimate formula, but an uninspired endgame relying on grinding might turn away even the most ambitious alchemists. If you're looking for an original sandbox puzzler and aren't afraid of repetitive gameplay, it's definite-ly an interesting game. Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator delivers exactly what it set out to do with an experience that has potion brewing and alchemic discovery at its core. It is a casual endeavor on the surface, but contains plenty of depth for those willing to dive in. While its pace may not be for everyone, just a few tweaks here and there to the gameplay mechanics would help elevate this game to an even more potent mixture. There's nothing wrong with Potion Craft. It's fun, it's chill, but it leaves me feeling like it's missing something. It feels less like a full game and more like a mechanic in search of a game. Potions are the primary products you can craft as an alchemist in Potion Craft. Potions are brewed through adding ingredients to the cauldron, then using a combination of stirring, pouring of base, and pumping the bellows to align a potion with an effect marker on the Alchemy Map, and finally using the bellows to heat the cauldron and imbuing the liquid with that effect. All potion effects can be produced using only a combination of the four basic ingredients (Firebell/ Waterbloom/ Terraria/ Windbloom) or four ordinal ingredients (Mad Mushroom/ Witch Mushroom/ Stink Mushroom/ Lifeleaf). However, they can often be achieved more optimally (with fewer steps) by substituting other, more expensive, ingredients. A potion can have various effects, each of a different tier. The tier of an effect depends on how well aligned the potion marker is with the corresponding effect marker when the effect is imbued. The higher the tier of an effect, the higher customers will pay for a potion with that effect.The selling price of a potion is determined by the effects (and their tiers) which the customer is requesting: each effect has a base price, and the price of a potion is determined by the sum of the requested effects each with a multiplier based on their tiers: 1 for tier I (base price); 1.75 for tier II; and 2.5 for tier III. For example, a Healing III/Sleep II potion sold to a customer desiring both effects will award 2.5×10 + 1.75×20 = 25 + 35 = 60 gold. If a Request has multiple possible answers, then having two compatible effects will increase the potion value.
