The amps of the Marshall Silver Jubilee series were based on the 2203 and 2204 models of the JCM800 array. However, they include a variety of new and smart highlights. The Silver Celebration 2555 had an imaginative preamp segment that gave it higher pickup and a darker and smoother sound. The preamp circuit had three pick up modes: Clean, Beat Clip, and Lead.
