As I played it more I became disappointed at the rough edges of the fret work especially on the down side near he base of the neck. Compared to my full size Sting Ray or MAI P Bass it was a let down every time my hands touched bottom end of the neck so I returned it. Finally I caved in and bought a Sting Ray short scale bass from Craigslist and I can't put it down. The quality is the same as my other basses and the little one sounds awesome. I've owned or tried. As I played it more I became disappointed at the rough edges of the fret work especially on the down side near he base of the neck. Compared to my full size Sting Ray or MAI P Bass it was a let down every time my hands touched bottom end of the neck so I returned it. Finally I caved in and bought a Sting Ray short scale bass from Craigslist and I can't put it down. The quality is the same as my other basses and the little one sounds awesome. I've owned or tried
