Season, but now it's about getting results, and we've been successful in that area recently."DePuy's score was the culmination of a second half that saw the Gauchos play considerably better than in the first, when they had just one shot and none from open play. UCSB began to turn it around after the halftime break, resulting in seven shots and five corners. The game was a continuation of heartbreak for the 'Eaters against UCSB, as the Gauchos have scored last-minute or golden goals in the past three regular-season contests between the two teams. Current senior Kevin Garcia-Lopezlanded a double-overtime golden goal in 2013 while 2012 Big West Midfielder of the Year Nic Ryan downed the Anteaters with a brace – including a golden goal with 24 seconds left in double OT – the year prior.Despite the late deadlock, both teams had chances to get on the board earlier in the second half.In the 75th minute, McKenna sent Harder Stadium into a frenzy when he perfectly curled a shot around the keeper's left hand side and just inside the right post, but a late whistle revealed that he had been deemed offside by assistant referee Luis Gutierrez. In the 69th minute, UCI forward Dennis Martinez was played into a one-on-one situation with UCSB keeper Brandon Berke inside the 18-yard box. All alone, Martinez got enough power on his shot but left a lot to desire on his location, as a well-positioned Berke didn't have to move as he got an arm on the drive for the save of the game.Besting his career-high of four saves set on Thursday against CSUN, Berke made five against the Anteaters to capture his second shutout of the season. He has now won all four games since making his first career start against San Diego State last week.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- UC Santa Barbara sophomore forward Nick DePuy drilled a 35-yard goal with under a minute remaining in regulation to break a scoreless tie and claim a 1-0 win against No. 3 UC Irvine in front of 4,731 fans at Harder Stadium on Saturday night. It was the first loss for the Anteaters (8-1-2, 0-1-1) this season. The Gauchos (6-3-1, 2-0-0) wrap up their season-long six-game homestand with a 5-1-0 record and end the first week of Big West conference play on a four-game win streak. The squad has also won 12 consecutive conference contests dating back to last season. The third-ranked Anteaters are tied for the highest-ranked opponent to be defeated by the Gauchos in regular-season program history.DePuy's 90th minute goal came seemingly out of nowhere in a game that appeared to be destined for overtime. The action got started when freshman defender Jeff Quezada played a long ball over the top to senior Reed McKenna, who had gotten behind the UCI defense.McKenna tried to run down the ball, but was barely beaten to it by 'Eaters keeper Michael Breslin, however the pressure from the UCSB forward caused a hasty release. The clearance eventually came to DePuy about 40 yards from goal. After settling the ball, the Irvine, Calif. native took one touch to his left, saw the keeper a little too far out of position, then drilled a 35-yard bender around Breslin and into the upper left corner of the net. Here's our guide on getting around Tarkov's Shoreline! Published: Dec 16, 2021, 12:04 pm Updated: Sep 24, 2024, 7:35 pmEscape From Tarkov is a hardcore shooter from Battlestate Games that has seen a slow rise in popularity since it's debut in 2016. The game prides itself in being unique due to its slow pace and requirement that players are both methodical and tactical about their gameplay strategy. First and foremost, getting to know the maps is a must for players, including the likes of Tarkov's Shoreline map.In this guide, we have explained all there is to find and look out for around Shoreline.Read More: Escape From Tarkov: How to Play With FriendsWhat is Shoreline? It seems to be widely agreed upon in the Escape From Tarkov community that Shoreline is one of the best maps to play on, especially for PvP. The map has an incredibly diverse terrain, with the Shoreline itself being great for long-range gunfights, and areas such as the Health Resort, Power Plant and other buildings being great fun for fast-paced, mid-to-close range combat between players. There's also woodlands and various vantage points for snipers, making the map literally suit all play styles.Above, we have embedded an interactive, fully-customisable map of Shoreline from our friends at MapGenie. The map has all loot, extractions, and other areas of interest noted on it. Check it out here.Shoreline as a map is also renowned for having some of the best loot available. However, much of it is locked behind closed doors in the Health Resort, and Tarkov players will need to spend time hunting for Keys and Keycards in Shoreline to get their hands on the most valuable loot. Although, one player did find out how to get their hands on the Red Lab Keycard, which we explain here. On Tarkov's Shoreline, raids can typically last for up to 55 minutes and the map allows for 8 to 13 players... with a lot of NPC Scav spawns. This means that Shoreline makes for a long, and intense game. However, it arguably has the best payoff considering the loot that could be yours, as well as the different gameplay styles you can exercise given how diverse the map is.Extraction PointsAcross Tarkov's Shoreline map, there are five Extraction points where players can make their escape safely with their loot, and an additional seven Scav Extraction points. As with most of the maps in Escape From Tarkov, not all Extraction Points are always available, some need players to meet specific requirements beforehand, and some have limited uses. Here are all the Extraction points across the Shoreline map:Pier Boat - All Factions, Not Always ActiveRoad To Customs - All, Always ActiveRock Passage - All, Not Always ActiveCCP Temp - All, Not Always ActiveTunnels - All, Always ActiveThe following Extraction points are all Scav only:LighthouseRuined RoadRuined House FenceSouth Fence PassageSvetily Dead EndRWing Gym EntranceAdmin BasementPoints Of InterestTarkov's Shoreline has multiple points of interest.
