In a sort of ghost state, though different from the ghosts in the Wizarding world themselves.─────⌑──────────⌑─────“However, like many creatures that dwell in cold and darkness, they fear light and warmth… Fire, Harry”- Albus Dumbledore─────⌑─────The First Wizarding War.Voldemort, in the first wizarding war, was known to create armies of Inferi from the people he killed. The Inferi we get to see the most of, also the only Inferi we actually see, is the army Voldemort left in the Crystal Cave to defend Salazar Slytherin's Locket: one of his Horcruxes. During the first wizarding war, only one person (that we known of) tried to retrieve the locket from the cave. That person being Regulus Black (R.A.Z.).He brought his house-elf Kreacher to the cave and successfully made his way to the middle platform of the cave, where he drank the Drink of Despair. When he went to drink from the lake, the army of Inferi rose and Regulus died in the cave, becoming part of the Inferi army himself. His house-elf, Kreacher, however, escaped. He took the locket with him and left a fake.─────⌑──────────⌑─────“The most obvious sign that one is facing an Inferius rather than a living human being are the white and cloudy eyes..”- Pottermore─────⌑─────The Second Wizarding War.As mentioned, the only army we ever get to see in the movies and books, is the one in Crystal Cave, defending Voldemort’s Horcrux. In 1997, Albus Dumbledore and of course, Harry Potter set to find the Locket. Dumbledore found out where it was hidden, and they made their way over to the cave. When in the cave, at first, the Inferi didn’t move. The only sign that there was anything in the water is, when Dumbledore and Harry were in the boat to get to the island in the middle, that Harry saw something move in the water. That would soon change, however. Dumbledore began drinking the Drink of Despair, just like Regulus, and just like him, he went to drink from the lake, as the Drink makes the drinker incredibly thirsty. As soon as he did though, the army of Inferi got out of. See a recent post on Tumblr from @spiritofdragonfire about wizarding passport. If you consider yourself a Potterhead, then you need to brace yourself. Eight years ago, fans were introduced to a new piece of the Harry Potter franchise that was unlike any other. The official Pottermore website went live with a slew of exclusive behind-the-scenes details, but it seems the site’s time has come. According to a new report, Pottermore is closing its door to embark on a brand-new journey. Videos by ComicBook.com Earlier today, Pottermore confirmed its decision to move on and rebrand for a new generation. The site announced it will shut down Pottermore less than a decade after going live in order to transition to a new website known as The Wizarding World. This rebranding is being done to honor future Harry Potter projects which may not fit within Pottermore, but the site’s existing user base shouldn’t be too scared. After all, Pottermore users will be able to transfer their accounts to The Wizarding World ASAP.“After seven years of providing you with all the latest Wizarding World reports, analysing every single facet of the Harry Potter stories, breaking news about the Fantastic Beasts films, challenging your fandom with some rather tough quizzes and, of course, asking you to discover your true Hogwarts house, we can now announce… that we’re going to do more of it! Just next door at our new home, WizardingWorld.com,” Pottermore confirmed in a new statement.“It’s a bit like The Burrow; we’re magically adding a few extra floors to our house and throwing in some Extension Charms, bringing over the content you know and love from Pottermore.com, and adding some new, enhanced surprises. A visit to Pottermore.com will redirect to WizardingWorld.com – but don’t worry, you haven’t made a mistake with your Floo Powder. It is still, very much, the online home of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts.”If you want to bring your existing profile over to the new site, you can create a so-called Wizarding Passport to move over your details. Your Hogwarts house, wand, and Patronus will all be kept on record. It seems all of Pottermore’s beloved quizzes and articles will be movedEeshan's Wizarding Passport - YouTube

This year, we’re celebrating the return to Hogwarts a little differently, as many of us continue to stay safe at home. Find out how you can join in the festivities of one of our favourite days of the wizarding world calendar, thanks to some digital wizardry, and our first-ever Back to Hogwarts livestream! As Harry Potter fans know all too well, on 1st September, Harry Potter attended Hogwarts for the very first time – and we’ve all been celebrating this eponymous wizarding world calendar date ever since. Here’s how all of our Wizarding World friends and family are congregating for a digital celebration this year, and how you can join in at home.Watch our first ever Back to Hogwarts livestreamOver the past number of years, we’ve loved seeing fans flocking to London’s King’s Cross station to celebrate Back to Hogwarts day with a good old fashioned countdown. To reflect the Hogwarts Express leaving Platform Nine and Three-Quarters at 11 o’ clock sharp, visitors at King’s Cross famously count down to this magical time with a special annual get-together.However, this year, the Wizarding World is asking fans not to attend King’s Cross station for the usual gathering. In the wake of COVID-19, we are asking you all to stay safe at home - but join us for a digital countdown all across the world instead! On 1st September, we will be hosting a Back to Hogwarts livestream, with special contributions from all across the Wizarding World family. Expect to see cameos from familiar faces from the Harry Potter films (such as James and Oliver Phelps, Jason Isaacs and Bonnie Wright) and members of the Cursed Child production, join us in a special Wizarding World trivia game, and see how fans around the world are celebrating Back to Hogwarts.James and Oliver Phelps, AKA the Weasley twins, had this to say about getting involved.“I’m so excited to be playing a part in the first ever digital Back to Hogwarts!’ James said. ‘2020 has definitely been a strange year and it’s really important that we all do everything we can to keep safe, including staying home. I hope fans will join us and keep the celebrations virtual.’Oliver Phelps added: ‘The Wizarding World fans are the greatest and getting the chance to share this special day with people all over the world is going to be brilliant. I’m really looking forward to everything this Digital Back to Hogwarts has in store and it’s a bonus that we can all do it from the sofa!’Yes, wizards and witches may be wary of Muggle technology, but this is some very exciting Muggle technology indeed. The livestream will take place between 10.30am BST and 11.30am BST – keep an eye on the Wizarding World channels for further updates! Fans will be able to support the charity Lumos throughout the livestream too.Enjoy a weekend of digital activities before the 1stBefore the big day itself, you can visit our Back to Hogwarts hub, which will magically begin to expand across the weekendUsing the online passport wizard creating 2d - Fastport Passport
